Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 91:1-3,5

Shalom brothers and sisters. Today is Sunday, February 18, 2018
[Psalm 91:1-3, 5 KJV] 1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the noisome pestilence. … 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flieth by day;
This verse speaks to the Greater Exodus but also to every day life.
The bigger secret place is where we will be taken to in the Greater Exodus. There we will be given His protection. In the meantime, though, this does not mean that we will not experience tribulation. Believe me, tribulation is in our future and I believe it is coming soon.
There is also an everyday secret place. This is the place you go to to be in unmolested prayer with Our Father. Personally I try to make it my home office by closing the door but some of the time my family doesn’t get it.
Yahawahshi had a place He retreated to when He wanted to be alone with Yahawah; the Garden of Gethsemane. Find your secret place and use it.
In the secret place, let Yahawah be your refuge; your ultimate retreat.
With Yahawah on your side, fear nothing but Him.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Shalom.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 148:4-5

Shalom brothers and sisters. Today is Saturday, February 17, 2018.

[Psalm 148:4-5 KJV] 4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that [be] above the heavens. 5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

Even the heavens and the waters above the heavens praise Yahawah so why should we do less?

Open every prayer to him in praise.

Please note that the prayer given us by Yahawahshi opens in praise:

[Matthew 6:9 KJV] 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Hallowed means that His name is above all, as it should be. Putting His name above all things is the best praise we can give.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Shalom.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 91:9-11

Shalom brothers and sisters. Today is Friday, February 16, 2018

[Psalm 91:9-11 KJV] 9 Because thou hast made the LORD, [which is] my refuge, [even] the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Habitation could also mean refuge. Yahawah should always be our refuge in times of trouble and in times of plenty. We should be willing to retreat to Him in prayer of thanks, request, and joy.

If you are truly righteous, that is, you are doing your best to observe Torah, then, even though life’s troubles may come upon you, you will have the things you need.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Shalom.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 138:3

[Psalm 138:3 KJV] 3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, [and] strengthenedst me [with] strength in my soul.

Shalom brothers and sisters. Today is Thursday, February 14, 2018

This is another verse dealing with prayer.

In good times and bad we should cry out to Yahawah in prayer. If the prayer is for His glory it will be answered.

Pray when you awake, just before you partake of lunch, and before you go to sleep.

Start with confession: Yahawah, I sinned against you in what I have done and what I failed to do.

Ask for forgiveness: Please forgive me for all the sin I have done, known and unknown.

Repent: I repent from all of these things. I will do my best to turn 180 degrees from them and walk the path of the straight and narrow behind my master and savior, Yahawahshi.

Ask that your prayers be heard: Please dear Yahawah, incline your ear to me and hear my prayer.

Do not be afraid to ask.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Shalom.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 103:13-14,17

[Psalm 103:13-14, 17 KJV] 13 Like as a father pitieth [his] children, [so] the LORD pitieth them that fear him. 14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we [are] dust. … 17 But the mercy of the LORD [is] from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

Shalom brothers and sisters. Today is Wednesday, February 14, 2018

Pity is Strong’s H7355; racham. Among its Biblical uses is love, which is probably a better translation for the word here.

Also, fear used here should be respect. If you respect Yahawah then you keep His commandments, Torah. He looks on those that keep His commandments with love.

His mercy extends to all that come to Him through His son Yahawahshi.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Shalom.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 48:14

[Psalm 48:14 KJV] 14 For this God [is] our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide [even] unto death.

Shalom brothers and sisters. Today is Tuesday, February 13, 2018

Yahawah is above all else. He is our creator and the protector of all that is His. If we will follow Him by keeping His commandments then He will guide us.

He sent Yahawahshi to be our guide. He died so that the sting of our sin will be covered over. He is our example. He kept Torah so we should as well.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Shalom.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 121:5,7-8

[Psalm 121:5, 7-8 KJV] 5 The LORD [is] thy keeper: the LORD [is] thy shade upon thy right hand. … 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Shalom brothers and sisters. Today Monday, February 12, 2018.
Even though it is not stated in these verses, this psalm is about prayer.

In times of trouble and in times of joy we must pray. Pray in the morning when you awaken, pray at noon before your lunch, and pray before you go to bed. Also, anytime you have time, pray.

Prayer for His glory and for protection will bring protection to you; the psalmist recognized this.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Shalom.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 138:6-8

[Psalm 138:6-8 KJV] 6 Though the LORD [be] high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off. 7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me. 8 The LORD will perfect [that which] concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, [endureth] for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
Shalom brothers and sisters. Today Sunday, February 11, 2018
We are told that Yahawah is not a respecter of persons, yet, in this psalm we are told that he has respect unto the lowly. That is the lowly among His people.
Who are His people? Throughout the Bible we see one set apart group; Israel. Israel is His people.
OK, so you say, I am not a Jew and I don’t live in Israel so I guess I am left out. Absolutely not. Remember that a mixed multitude went out with the Israelites in the Exodus and they became Israelites.
You have a chance to become part of Israel by hearing and doing His Word, Torah and coming to Yahawahshi as your savior.
We are also told in this psalm that “the proud He knoweth afar off”. That is, he knows they exist but they get none of his blessings. Remember, it was Satan’s pride that caused his fall.
We are also told in this verse that even though we walk in trouble, and you have to agree that the world we live in is very troubled, Yahawah will revive us, He will stretch forth His hand against the wrath of our enemies, and save us by His right hand. Who has always been described as the right hand of Yahawah? Yahawahshi! We know by His work on the tree Yahawashi has saved us.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Shalom.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 55:16-18

[Psalm 55:16-18 KJV] 16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. 17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. 18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle [that was] against me: for there were many with me.
Shalom brothers and sisters. Today is Saturday, February 10, 2018.
In the temple there were morning, noon, and evening prayers. Modern rabbis still maintain this tradition and, as we can see, so did the psalmist.

We need to set aside time at the beginning of our day, time before we partake of lunch, and time at the end of our day for honest, sincere prayer.

If you are being spiritually attacked, pray to battle your way through it. If you are doing your best to keep His commandments and have repented your sin then your prayers will be heard.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Shalom.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 34:17-19

[Psalm 34:17-19 KJV] 17 [The righteous] cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. 18 The LORD [is] nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19 Many [are] the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Shalom brothers and sisters. Today is Friday, February 9, 2018.

Who are the righteous? Those that hear and do His word, Torah.

The righteous have a great privilege of being heard by Yahawah. Their prayers are heard.

We should note that Yahawah does not deliver us from troubles; He delivers us out of them. Believers are not immune to troubles, but they do have a Mighty Deliverer! That’s the crucial difference.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. In the name of Yahawahshi, shalom.
